A bit of history

Tony Rogers

Tony Rogers has been playing guitar since the age of six.  Tony plays electric and acoustic guitars, dobro and vocals.  He is a talented performer of both traditional and contemporary blues styles.  He has also studied traditional blues with some of his favorite musical heroes, Ernie Hawkins, Del Ray, Steve James, Pat Donahue, Jorma Kaukonen and Roy Bookbinder. Tony plays with Robin in the duo, trio and band.  He also shares songwriting credits with Robin and has played guitar on all 3 of her CD's.

 

Kerry Brooks

Kerry Brooks began his musical journey at the age of four, when he started piano lessons. Guitar lessons began at age nine, and he finally moved to bass at seventeen. While in high school and college, he played around Charlotte in various blues and rock bands. He attended College at UNC Charlotte, and soon discovered a love for jazz and classical music.  After switching to primarily playing upright bass, Brooks graduated Cum Laude with a degree in music education in 2000.  Since graduation, he has worked as a professional bassist in the area.  He has played on numerous recordings, performed and jammed with many world class musicians, and has made several television, print, and radio appearances. Jim Brock

With over 40 years at his craft, Jim Brock has proven to be an innovator in the world of drums and percussion. Brock is simply one of the best drummers alive, period. He maintains the drummer's perfect balance, at total ease in the spaces between vibe, feel, groove, song, and precision. He is a drummer's drummer, a master of the traditional set and world percussion instruments alike, often combining many kinds of drums into a seamless work of beauty.
